Hillside Neighborhood – Coordinated Option for Private Security (Corporate Crime Control)
Information about the service, and signup for $50/month, is available here. If you are having difficulty please email Tricia Cline at cccacline@gmail.com. Tricia will be happy to send you sign up documents directly.
CCC has offered private security services in Portland for over 30 years. CCC requires its officers receive substantial training, including de-escalation and implicit bias. CCC has never received complaints from the community or clients. Its officers have never fired a weapon while on duty, though are trained to do so.
While the HNA Security Committee’s volunteers coordinated this option for Hillside residents, residents will directly hire CCC.
Reporting a Crime
If there is NOT an immediate threat to life or property, call 503-823-3333
The non-emergency number is for situations that are not an immediate threat to life or property. You will be asked questions to help you find the right resource. You may be sent to another agency for help, such as animal control, a power company, etc.
Below are some examples of non-emergency situations:
- You wake up to find your vehicle missing.
- You have additional information to add to a previously reported situation.
- You were assaulted two hours earlier, and the suspect is no longer there.
- Your identification was stolen.
- Your “ex” keeps calling and harassing you.
- The neighbors are playing their music too loud.
